Universal Patinas are non-reactive, UV safe, do not contain UNI32ZRUS
acids and are environmentally friendly with no VOC’s. 8 oz. Rust Universal Patina

Any metal surface needs to be cleaned before application. 8 oz. Rust Universal Patina
For best adhesion, Universals should be applied hot. Heat
the metal to approximately 180°F-220°F. Universals are heat
tol-erant, scratch resistant, and may be used as a base for
other patinas. A clear sealer is always recommended to
protect your finish.

Smart Stains (cold application)
Smart Stain is a strong, non-hazardous, fast drying patina system. It has no SST08ZBRN
VOC’s and no odor. Smart Stain contains UV inhibitors and will not fade 8 oz. Brown
Smart Stain
outdoors if maintained properly. It will clean up with warm, sudsy water. SST32ZBRN
Smart Stain is very versatile. All colors are transparent and may be 32 oz. Brown
blended or layered onto any metal including iron, steel and aluminum. Smart Stain

Smart Stain is made by combining finely ground, naturally occurring SST08ZBLK

(2) Clean the surface of the material and make sure it is completely dry
before applying Smart Stain.
PAINT & PATINAS (3) Apply by spray, sponge, roller, or brush. Apply as many coats as
needed to achieve the desired color. If applying over a patina,
make sure the first layer of Smart Stain saturates the rust or patina.
Allow 1 hour to fully cure between coats.
NOTE:
