These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the use of this website and any affiliated sites or applications controlled by My Legal Done where this Agreement is posted (collectively, the “Sites”). By accessing or using the Sites, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which may be updated from time to time. If you do not agree, do not use the Sites.
Under Section 12, any disputes related to this Agreement may be resolved through arbitration, to the extent permitted by law. This Agreement may include a waiver of the right to sue in court, including through a class action lawsuit. You may opt out of these provisions by following the instructions in Section 12.
1. Age Requirements
The Sites are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old and of legal age to form a binding agreement. If you are under 18, you may only access or use the Sites with the consent of a parent or guardian, who remains responsible for compliance with this Agreement.
2. Privacy Policy
Information provided to or collected through the Sites is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into this Agreement.
3. Intellectual Property
All content available on the Sites, including but not limited to text, trademarks, service marks, trade names, graphics, images, videos, software, and design elements (“Content”), is owned or licensed by My Legal Done and protected under intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to access the Sites for informational purposes only. 4. Restrictions on Use
With respect to the Sites and all associated software, systems, and platforms (“System”), you may not copy, reverse-engineer, modify, sell, resell, or exploit the System for any unauthorized commercial purposes. You may not use the Sites in violation of any applicable laws, regulations, or these Terms.
5. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Your use of the Sites does not create an attorney-client relationship with My Legal Done. The Content provided on the Sites is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is established unless you formally engage our services through a signed engagement agreement.
Communications made through the Sites, including email or contact forms, are not privileged or confidential unless you are an existing client.
6. Submissions and Unsolicited Materials
We do not accept unsolicited ideas or legal inquiries through the Sites. If you submit any ideas, suggestions, or materials (“Submissions”), you agree that they are not confidential, and we assume no obligation to review, use, or compensate you for such Submissions.
By submitting any materials, you grant My Legal Done an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, or distribute them at our discretion.
7. Prohibited Conduct
By using the Sites, you agree not to:
- Post or transmit any content that is false, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or unlawful.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Sites, other user accounts, or confidential data.
- Use automated systems (including bots or scrapers) to collect or misuse data from the Sites.
- Disrupt or interfere with the security or functionality of the Sites.
Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of access, legal action, and/or notification to law enforcement.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Sites may contain links to third-party websites or services (“Third-Party Services”) that are not owned or controlled by My Legal Done. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or security of any Third-Party Services. Your use of such services is at your own risk.
9. Disclaimer
The Sites and all Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Sites will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Legal Done and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Sites.
Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to access the Sites.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Legal Done, its affiliates, officers, employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Sites, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Any dispute or claim related to this Agreement may be resolved by binding arbitration in Boston, Massachusetts, administered by a neutral arbitrator. The arbitration may be conducted in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
The arbitrator may be instructed to apply the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Subject to applicable law, by agreeing to these Terms, you may waive the right to file a lawsuit in court, including class action lawsuits, and arbitration may be conducted on an individual basis only.
If you wish to opt out of any arbitration provision, you must send written notice to support@mylegaldone.com within 30 days of your first use of the Sites.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement, and any dispute arising under or relating to this Agreement, shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, excluding its conflict of laws provisions that would result in the application of the law of another jurisdiction.
Any dispute not subject to arbitration may be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on the Sites. Your continued use of the Sites after modifications are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
15. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Sites for any violation of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion.
