                                    ABS NewsABS Times - 2025/2026 3ABS Unveils Stunning Campus Renovations for its 20th YearTech Department Shines on Super WednesdayThe 2025-2026 school year began with excitement and pride as ABS students returned to a newly transformed campus. Over the summer, major renovations took place across all departments, reflecting the school%u2019s ongoing commitment to providing a vibrant, welcoming environment for learning.The most striking addition is the newly constructed main lobby and reception area, featuring a modern design that creates an inviting first The Tech Department turned Open Day into a showcase of innovation, proving that ABS is a true STEM school.Highlights included a kaleidoscope website that creates dynamic visual patterns and an automated plantwatering system that monitors and irrigates plants automatically.Students in 2D%u20133D Graphic Design presented SheFit, a fitness and wellness brand with designs created in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and a 3D video in Blender.A crowd favorite was the VEX IQ Competition Robot, built by students to lift and score objects, showing impression for students, parents, and visitors alike. Throughout the campus, a fresh color palette of red, white, and blue now unifies the look of the school, highlighted by sleek LED lighting and upgraded staircase railings for both safety and style.The entire exterior and interior halls have been repainted, including classrooms and outdoor spaces, creating a brighter and more cohesive environment. The courtyard canopies were also replaced with new designs in softer colors, improving comfort and shade across outdoor areas.These renovations mark another milestone in ABS%u2019s journey of continuous improvement and school pride. With future upgrades already planned for the cafeteria renovation project, the spirit of growth and progress continues to shine as ABS celebrates its 20th anniversary year.teamwork and engineering skill.The department also unveiled advanced engineering projects, such as a Wi-Fi-controlled rover with a camera, an Arduino drone, and a hydroponic tower for sustainable vertical farming.Each project demonstrated creativity, problem-solving, and the growing confidence of ABS students as innovators of the future.Together, these projects showcased the creativity, teamwork, and the innovative spirit driving STEM at American Baccalaureate School.
