What is Tag That Photo?¶
Tag That Photo (TTP) is designed primarily for the family photo archivist. It's essentially a "power face tagger and organizer" for managing large quantities of digital photos.
Key Features¶
Why Choose Tag That Photo
- 🔒 Privacy First - Your data stays on your computer, not in the cloud
- ⚡ Fast & Accurate - AI-powered face recognition with deep learning
- 🔍 Powerful Search - Find photos by people, dates, keywords, and locations
- 💾 Future-Proof - Tags written directly into images using industry standards (XMP)
- 🪟 Windows Native - Optimized 64-bit application for Windows ⅞/10/11
What TTP Does¶
- Automatically detect faces in your photos (1)
- Use AI to suggest names for unknown faces (2)
- Organize photos by people, dates, keywords, and locations
- Write metadata directly into your images using standards (3)
- Provide powerful search to find photos in seconds
- Uses advanced face detection to find faces of any size, even in complex backgrounds
- Deep learning algorithms match faces with 95%+ accuracy
- Uses Adobe XMP and Metadata Working Group (MWG) standards for maximum compatibility
What TTP Does NOT Do¶
Not a Photo Editor
Tag That Photo is focused on organization and tagging:
- ❌ Does not edit photos (use Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
- ❌ Does not share to social networks
- ❌ Does not show ads or sell your data
