Lathe Compound
DRO
I consider this the equivalent
of a quill DRO for a mill, which I've found very useful. So, I
knocked together a quick DRO for my lathe:

It's just a couple
of aluminum blocks that clamp to the lathe. The calipers (I picked the
ones whose feel I like the least. They were cheap from eBay!) are bolted
to the bottom of the top block. The bottom block has a vertical bar to
measure against. I found out the DRO is more accurate than the compound
dial. Good to know!
The whole thing
is easily removable too.

Build a Rack for your Air Tools
A little piece of angle bracket
and a 5/16" end mill to cut a bunch of slots and you can create a
handy rack for air tools:

Got more of
'em than I thought!

Grab the tool
you need, connect to the hose and go!
