There's a lot of shady areas that really helps on a hot summer day. There are also several indoor exhibits that are air conditioned.

These were so appreciated since we went on a very hot and humid day. I thought the historic farm and farmhouse were great. They were well-kept.

I wish we'd had time to go in the house, but the self-guided tours are only done certain times of the day. They should think about changing this feature in the summer or on weekends when lots of people are there. This is a relatively small zoo with only one tiger, a good number of rhinos, maybe three giraffes, and a few bears. I assume these large animals are quite expensive.

This zoo is not that old, so I guess they are still trying to acquire the funds to purchase more animals. The rest of the zoo was still great and well-kept.

My son commented more than once that it didn't smell bad and looked clean in each containment area. The docents provided lots of information and were very friendly. We were there for a private event and the staff did a great job with the food and the set-up. I enjoyed my time at the Nashville Zoo, except for the heat! This was the our first time to Nashville zoo. It was very nice. It has a lot of shade, but one has a lot of walking to do between the attractions. Has several animal attractions.

My daughter and nephew did the zip line. They both enjoyed it. We had a good time at the zoo, just be prepared for lots of walking, as most zoos are. It was very sunny, hot and humid so the shaded pathways were very much appreciated! The tiger was up and kept walking right by the glass, which was amazing to see her up close!

We had so much fun and the animals were very active including the bears. I believe it was one of the highlights of the trip for the price we got it was amazing and the staff were so friendly.

Great place to take kids!! Fun things to do and great ways to keep kids engaged. The Zip Line was not really a zip line but still a fun ride!
