Tiger Board Strengthened

Tiger, the international exploration and mining investment company announces today the addition of two new directors to the Board.

Alan Mooney and John Molyneux join the Board of Tiger with immediate effect.

Alan Mooney is Chief Financial Officer of Minmet PLC. John Molyneux is a Member of the Securities Institute and a Director of W H Ireland Limited, stockbrokers to Tiger.

Jeremy Metcalfe, Chairman of Tiger said "I could not be more pleased that these two most talented people with such strong professional qualifications have agreed to serve on the Tiger board. Alan Mooney (51) joined Minmet PLC as CFO in August 2001. He is a Chartered Accountant having trained with Price Waterhouse Coopers and holds Bachelor of Commerce and MBA degrees from University College Dublin. Prior to joining Minmet PLC he was Financial Manager with Continental AG in Portugal. He was also Divisional Chief Financial Officer with the Sonae Group - Portugal's largest industrial group.

John Molyneux (54) has held a variety of fund management posts with a number of leading investment management and stockbroking groups including Montagu Loebl, English Trust and Greig Middleton. In 1994 he joined Henry Cooke Lumsden and in 1998 he joined W H Ireland to run their new London office.
